Finding a Physical Phone Tap
If you’re worried that you have a phone tap problem, there are some ways to investigate the truth and try to find the key. A physical phone tap is one that is actually present in the phone, or present somewhere along the telephone cable. Usually someone somewhere has done something to their phone lines to share theirs, so they can pick up your phone and listen to their conversation – even be a record. There are also taps transmitter that can be somewhere in your house and listen in. For taps transmitter, a regular “bug sweep” should do the trick. However, physical phone for an error? You need to do a little hunting.
The first key is probable physical phone attached is in fact a place where the wires in your home. This means you will have to follow the wires from the phone jacks and the TNI box outside your house all the way home. Many of these cables pass through the ground, and therefore you should check there. Because there is the possibility that the physical key may be on the wall, you may find that breaking the wall is your only option. However, it would be very difficult for a faucet that was in place without their knowledge, unless it happened during construction.
TNI box mentioned above should also be checked. You can open and see if anything unusual inside. If you want to double check the side of the box that says “restricted”, you need a key to Alan. Fortunately, these are available at any hardware store. Well review your TNI box is a good move, since this is a likely place for people to physically touch on your line without you noticing.
Of course, if you are subject to a government phone jack, which does not really matter. This is because the government uses the telephone company switch. There is nothing anywhere near his house to take advantage. Can you escape from a tap of government by using a prepaid cell phone (a regular cell phone can take the same way as a conventional telephone) or a pay phone, but touched the ground line, there is no detection of a power Phone government.
